Subject: [amos-list] FTP send through amos?
Status: O
X-Status:
From: Chris Seward <amiga@thefree.net>
Hi,
I was wondering if any knew if its possible to open a TCP session via
amos? I know its possible to access the serial port and also to run
external TCP programs but is there any internal Amos way?
My need to know this is I want to make a small example to send a file
from one computer to an FTP site on another. You run the program on
your computer and the file you suppy is sent directly to the ftp
site IP you give. I don't know if this is possible but if anyone has any
ideas then that would be great!
If its not possible then maybe the new Amos that is being produced
could have good TCP/IP workings. ie. allow TCP programs to be made.
Toodle Pip!
